An Arizona hike

The first week of March was my spring break. Kristin and I headed to Arizona to visit with my parents! On one of the days we decided to go on a hike! It was 80 degrees when we went and it was so nice out. It was good to get out and try something new, since of course we left cold rainy weather behind us!

Finally!

I'm back! For some reason it wasn't letting me log onto my account. So it has been awhile... As always.

Vegas: Gondola Ride

On our second day in Vegas, we decided to take a gondola ride! Such a fun time. Dad even started to sing!

Winter break : Arizona

Winter break was so enjoyable this time around!! After a long semester of ups and downs it was GREAT to head to Arizona with my brother Brett and to visit my parents. It was the first time of seeing their new house and it is gorgeous! It was great to spend some quality time together.

One of my favorite past times was being able to spend brother and sister time with Brett. We've lost that over the years and it was great to have no excuse and just head off on our own. We headed to In N Out Burger for lunch on our first day. We both LOVE it there. They just need to come out to the east coast ASAP.

Christmas day- one like no other. Usually it's about 30 degrees out, with a blanket of snow outside. Very different this year in Arizona. We sat outside and watched movies.. But some of us fell asleep. Ooops!

3 Months later....

I'm baccccck! For now.

This semester has FLOWN by. I can't believe this week is the end of classes!! Only three more semesters then I graduate. Can't even believe it.

But for now, I must make it through 2 essays, one book, 4 exams, and many hours of studying! Oh and throw in 20hours at Hallmark during the busy season !:)

Family time is the best time

I guess it's true when people say you realize things you take for granted when you lose them. My mom came to visit me last week from AZ and it was the best few days ! Whenever I see mothers and daughters together it makes me realize how I took that for granted on a number of occasions.

We saw Brett graduate from his orientation at Mass Maritime, moved my stuff into my dorm, spent time at the beach with Brett, my cousin Vanessa, and my grandparents. It was good to have her back and to finally get Brett back at the same time. Family time should never be taken for granted and I have DEFINITELY learned that with my parents moving to AZ.

I am so bad at keeping this blog updated, but i'm trying now that I take many pictures with my new camera!

A few days after my birthday Chelsea and Lisa came to visit me at the Cape. We originally planned to hang by the beach, but it ended up being a rainy day off- what does that mean ? Shopping! Something I told myself I would stay away from this summer yet it hasn't really worked .

New favorite cupcake place? Cupcake Charlie's in Mashpee. AMAZING. Also throughout the shopping day I fell in love with another store-- Ulta. We spent over an hour looking at beauty products!
